Terms & Conditions
By enrolling in The Thyroid Temple, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Program Overview
The Thyroid Temple is an educational group program facilitated by Alex Goodwin, a Naturopath.
The program is designed to provide educational information, reflective practices and holistic perspectives relating to thyroid health, nervous system regulation, nourishment, herbal medicine, energetics and wellbeing.
The Thyroid Temple is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
2. Educational Purposes Only
All information provided throughout The Thyroid Temple, including live sessions, workbooks, written materials, recordings, emails and resources, is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
Participation in this program does not constitute a practitioner-client relationship, nor does it replace individual medical, psychological or healthcare advice.
Participants are encouraged to seek guidance from their healthcare providers regarding any medical concerns, diagnosis, treatment decisions, medication changes or health conditions.
3. Personal Responsibility
By participating in this program, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
You agree to make decisions regarding your health and wellbeing in consultation with your healthcare providers where appropriate.
Any actions taken based on information shared within the program are undertaken at your own discretion and responsibility.
4. Group Participation
The Thyroid Temple is intended to be a respectful, supportive and inclusive space.
Participants agree to:
Treat fellow participants with respect and kindness.
Respect differing perspectives and experiences.
Maintain confidentiality regarding personal information shared within the group.
Participate in a way that supports the safety and integrity of the container.
The facilitator reserves the right to remove participants whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, inappropriate or harmful to the group experience.
No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
5. Confidentiality
While every effort will be made to create a confidential and supportive environment, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed within a group setting.
Participants are asked to respect the privacy of all individuals within the program and refrain from sharing personal information disclosed by others outside of the group.
6. Session Recordings
Live sessions may be recorded and made available to participants who have enrolled in the program.
By participating in live sessions, you acknowledge that your image, voice, questions and contributions may be included within recordings.
Recordings are provided for personal use only and may not be shared, distributed or reproduced without written permission.
Participants are welcome to keep their cameras off if preferred.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials provided as part of The Thyroid Temple, including but not limited to presentations, workbooks, educational resources, recordings, written content and program materials, remain the intellectual property of Alex Goodwin.
These materials are provided for personal use only.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, share, sell, teach from or modify any program content without prior written consent.
8. Payment Terms
Full payment, or the first instalment of an approved payment plan, is required to secure your place within the program.
Your place is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
All pricing is listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
9. Refund Policy
Due to the digital and educational nature of the program, refunds are not available once enrolment has been confirmed.
If exceptional circumstances arise, requests may be considered at the sole discretion of the facilitator.
Missed sessions do not qualify for partial refunds, as recordings will be provided where available.
10. Program Changes
The facilitator reserves the right to make reasonable changes to session dates, content, delivery format or program structure where necessary.
Participants will be notified as soon as possible should any significant changes occur.
11. Scope of Support
The Thyroid Temple is a group educational experience and does not include individual health assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendations or personalised protocols.
Participants seeking individualised support are encouraged to book a private consultation.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in The Thyroid Temple, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to abide by them throughout your participation in the program.
